Founder and Chief Executive Officer for Foundation for Rural Integrated Enterprises & Development (FRIEND). Have been supporting the building of organic movement in Fiji for the past 5 years. Fiji and the Pacific are threatened by a major NCD crisis as well as Climate Crisis. Embracing sustainable regenerative farming practices has the potential to help mitigate and improve human and environmental health needed for sustainable communities in our region.

Founder and manager of a market garden and fruit farm since 2012, with organic produces guaranteed under the Organic Pasifika mark. President of BioCaledonia since 2019.
Elected to the New Caledonian Chamber of Agriculture since 2017, Chairman of the Sustainable Development Commission. Founding member of the COOP1 producers’ cooperative since 2017.

Litia Taukave (co-Chair)

Established the Loving Islands organic PGS group in Fiji. Worked with various development agencies to provide organic farmer training to a few thousand rural farmers and producers over the years, predominantly women.
Supported the development of national organic policies around the Pacific – Fiji, Solomon Islands, Palau. Supported the development of the Pacific Organic Standards guidebook.

He is a founding Member of the Tonga National Youth Congress, an organic association in Tonga. Mr. Havea is passionate about Community Development looking at communities from inside, promoting local governance and resilience.

Iototoro Vakapora                                                                         

Founding member of (NKA) Natura Kuki Airani – the Cook Islands Organic Movement. Chair of the local PGS group in Cook Islands. Sixth generation organic farmer on his land and farm. Since 2015, my garden has been an organic workshop for our members, interested parties and on occasion, our Cook Islands ministry of agriculture. I have been at the head of the expansion of NKA in membership, established relationships with environmental groups (Ipukarea), the permaculture community, and like-minded groups around the Pacific.
