By POETCom statutes, the Board establishes rules of procedure for the Advisory Board and the General Assembly, which are to be approved by the General Assembly. In addition, the Board may make decisions on issues not yet determined by the General Assembly.

The Statutes further add that the Board may set up working groups, committees and regional or thematic task groups. It may also delegate specific tasks to such bodies or to individuals. The Board takes decisions by consensus or simple majority with at least half of the members present and by open vote.

Congratulations to all Board members! We look forward to your guidance as we continue to steer towards a sustainable and organic Pacific!
